Showshow Show 17’ ⽂字與紙繍創作展
A Celebration of Letters & Craftsmanship!
2014 年底成立於臺北， 繍繍⽂字芸術制作所的⽬標在於探索將⽂字語言具象化的⼯藝手法與表現性，作品結合手工藝與文字造形設計，藉由創造新的類比手法，以常見的紙繡技法作為第一步，依據所使用的材料特性、限制及其特有的製作方法，發展出相對應的網格系統與文字造形，並經由手工製程，創造出揉合⼈文性與現代性的當代文字造形語言。
經過兩年多的累積與籌畫， 繍繍制作所於朋丁舉辦⾸次展覽「Showshow Show‘17」，展出數十件風格各異、⾊彩豐富的作品，將文字造形藝術的表現場域從螢幕字體轉換到實體物件，透過藝術家的雙手，重新進入我們日常⽣活之中，使⽂字語言不只是被「閱讀」，還能以另一種形式被「保存」與「感受」。
Showshow Craft is an independent craft studio based in Taipei, Taiwan, that was founded at the end of 2014. It focuses on exploring the possibilities of making language not only visible to the eye but also tangible.
After more than 2 years of organising, we debut with ‘Showshow Show ‘17’, a collection held at Pon Ding. Showcasing the fruits of our efforts, bringing a plentiful of vibrant, delicate and technique-driven artwork from screen to workshop, then back to our everyday life.
